More than 50 thousand students study at 13 higher educational institutions (universities). Three regional technical colleges are included in TOP 100 colleges in Russia. Moreover, they have WorldSkills Russia certificates.
DUAL TRAINING
We have developed close ties of professional educational organizations with leading industry enterprises and associations. There are agreements between The Government of the Tyumen region, employers and professional educational organizations on cooperation in the field of training qualified personnel.
Enterprises take part in the development of curriculum and educational programs, introduce to teachers and masters of industrial training new technologies, modern production techniques and working methods. In the laboratories and workshops of professional educational organizations, an environment is created for the development of models of on-the-job training.
ENTREPRENEURS TEACH STUDENTS
There has been the only one in Russia a Department of Entrepreneurship in the University of Tyumen since 2020.The department was created with the assistance of the regional business community. Entrepreneurs of the Tyumen region give lectures to students. The staff of the department has developed a test to determine the level of aptitude for entrepreneurial activity, which is used in many regions of the country.
